Internship Program

Council Internships

The Streit Council offers internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students interested in international affairs, transatlantic relations, and democratic governance.

Interns work closely with Council leadership on research, publications, and program development. Positions are available on a rolling basis.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • ✦Assist with research on transatlantic policy issues
  • ✦Contribute to Council publications and blog content
  • ✦Help organize events and programs
  • ✦Support social media and communications efforts
  • ✦Participate in editorial meetings and strategy sessions

Qualifications

  • ✦Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited university
  • ✦Strong research and writing skills
  • ✦Interest in international affairs, democratic governance, or transatlantic relations
  • ✦Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • ✦Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus

Fellowship Program

Research Fellowships

The Streit Council Research Fellowship program supports scholars and professionals conducting work relevant to our mission of promoting democratic federal union among the Atlantic democracies and beyond.

Fellows contribute original research, participate in Council programs, and engage with our network of scholars and policymakers.

Fellowship Details

  • ✦Fellowships are typically for a period of one academic year
  • ✦Fellows are expected to produce at least one major research paper
  • ✦Opportunities to present research at Council events
  • ✦Access to the Council's network of scholars and policymakers

Frank Fund Scholarship
